Morning session (5 hours) £45pp - Saturday 7th December 2024 @ 7am in West Moors, Dorset, BH22.

Walk-shop Overview: A group photography experience designed to bring like-minded people together in the photography community, whether you’re a beginner with no experience or have more experience and would like to join a friendly laid back group (Limited to 10 people) to explore a new location. The workshop provides both technical guidance and creative insights, covering everything from camera settings to composition techniques.

What It Includes:

  1. Personalized Instruction: Hands-on guidance tailored to each group member’s photography goals, whether focused on landscape, portrait, or wildlife photography. Benefit from shared learning experiences and diverse perspectives within the group.

  2. Fieldwork and Practical Experience: Engage in real-world shooting scenarios with the group, applying skills in various environments and conditions. Working alongside others provides additional creative inspiration and opportunities for collaboration.

  3. Feedback and Critique: Constructive group critique sessions during and after the workshop to refine techniques and develop individual styles. Gain insights not only from the instructor but from fellow participants as well.

  4. Equipment Tips and Advice: Group discussion and recommendations on camera settings, lenses, filters, and other gear, based on the shooting environment and the equipment participants bring.

Included:

  • Morning session, spanning 5 hours, including a 1-hour meet and greet at a coffee shop, with a complimentary welcome drink.

  • Begin the day at 7am by meeting at Buds and Beans in West Moors for your choice of a morning tea or coffee (one beverage included in the price), before heading out to explore the nearby plantation for the photography session.

  • My goal is to make this experience accessible to everyone - camera equipment is available to borrow at no extra cost, though this needs to be arranged in advance and is subject to availability.

Excluded:

  • Insurance for health, accidents, or equipment.

  • Please bring along snacks to keep you energised throughout the morning, as well as any soft drinks.

  • Appropriate outdoor clothing, sturdy walking shoes, and a tripod.

  • Accommodation (recommendations available upon request for travellers).
